When I was a little girl my brother and I got caught in the middle of a ladybug swarm. There were hundreds of them flying around and landing on us. I’ve loved watching them ever since.
I have a favourite bug, and I think it’s a lady bug, but I will have to send a picture of it to your Mum & Dad. If you know what it is, I’d like to know, please. It’s so beautifully symmetrical and I’d love to know how a small bug could have designed itself so beautifully through evolution. We saw it last year on the island of Guernsey when we were with Lara & Paul Keelan from Vancouver.
